Pemenang Piala Oscar 2017

The 89th Academy Awards
Baru saja terlaksana sebuah ajang penghargaan yang sangat ditunggu-tunggu para insan perfilman dunia yaitu, Academy Awards atau Piala Oscar 2017. Ajang tahunan tersebut diselenggarakan di The Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles, California, Amerika Serikat. Perhelatan akbar yang telah memasuki penyelenggaraan yang ke-89 tersebut dipandu oleh Jimmy Kimmel dan memperebutkan sebanyak 24 kategori.

Emma Stone akhirnya terpilih menjadi "Best Actress" sesuai dengan prediksi banyak orang berkat aktingnya di film "La La Land". Dia berhasil menyisihkan aktris lainnya yang masuk nominasi termasuk aktris senior Meryl Streep. Film drama komedi musikal tersebut di Academy Awards tahun ini memimpin dengan memperoleh 14 nominasi, tapi cuma berhasil membawa pulang 6 piala Oscar yaitu Best Director, Best Actress, Best Original Score, Best Original Song, Best Production Design serta Best Cinematography. Gelar ‘Best Picture’ jatuh ke tangan film ‘Moonlight’. Film 'Moonlight' sukses mengalahkan delapan film lain. Di antaranya "Fences", "Manchester By The Sea", "Hacksaw Ridge", "Arrival", "Hidden Figures", "Lion", "Hell or High Water" juga "La La Land".

Tahun ini pihak penyelenggara Oscar juga menganugerahi Academy Honorary Awards kepada  Jackie Chan,  Anne V. Coates, Lynn Stalmaster dan Frederick Wiseman atas dedikasinya di dunia perfilman.

Pemenang BRIT Awards 2017

BRIT Awards 2017
Penyanyi asal Inggris, Adele kembali menambah koleksi pialanya. Setelah menyabet lima Grammy Awards minggu lalu, pemilik nama lengkap Adele Laurie Blue Adkins ini sukses menggondol satu piala di ajang BRIT Awards yang berlangsung di O2 Arena, London, 22 Februari 2017 waktu setempat. 

Pelantun ‘Hello’ itu membawa pulang satu piala BRIT Awards, yakni BRITs Global Success. Di kategori British Artist Video, Adele harus mengakui ketangguhan boyband jebolan X Factor United Kingdom, One Direction lewat video mereka ‘History’. David Bowie yang meninggal pada 10 Januari 2016 silam malam itu juga berhasil mengantongi piala Brit Awards untuk kategori British Male Solo Artist dan MasterCard British Album of the Year.

Pemenang BAFTA Awards 2017

70th British Academy Film Awards
Sepertinya tahun 2017 merupakan tahun keberuntungan bagi film drama komedi musikal “La La Land”. Setelah menang banyak di Critics' Choice Awards  2016 dan Golden Globes 2017, film arahan sutradara Damien Chazelle juga mendominasi ajang British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) atau “Piala Oscar-nya” Inggris yang digelar di Royal Albert Hall, London, Minggu (12/2). Diunggulkan di sebelas kategori film ini sukses membawa pulang 5 piala. Film yang dibintangi oleh Emma Stone dan Ryan Gosling tersebut berjaya di kategori Best Film, Director, Leading Actress, Cinematography and Original Music categories. Daftar Lengkap Pemenang Grammy Awards 2017

59th Annual Grammy Awards
Penghargaan paling bergengsi dalam dunia musik Amerika Serikat, Grammy Awards 2017, selesai dibagikan dalam sebuah acara megah di Gedung Staples Center, Los Angeles, California, Amerika Serikat. Dengan host aktor, komedian dan pembawa acara televisi asal Inggris, James Corden, yang menggantikan rapper LL Cool J yang telah menjadi host Grammy Awards sejak tahun 2012, acara penghargaan The 59th Annual Grammy Awards ini menampilkan serangkaian penampilan panggung spektakuler musisi papan atas dunia  pada hari Minggu (12/2) malam waktu Amerika Serikat atau Senin (13/2) pagi waktu Indonesia.  

Beyoncé yang malam itu mengumpulkan 9 nominasi harus puas mebawa pulang 2 piala untuk kategori Best Urban Contemporary Album dan Best Music Video. Sukses besar diraih oleh Adele, penyanyi asal Inggris itu menyapu bersih semua piala Grammy dari setiap kategori yang dinominasikan. Keberuntungan tampaknya tidak berpihak pada Justin Bieber tahun ini. Masuk 4 nominasi, namun penyanyi “Sorry” tersebut harus pulang dengan tangan kosong tanpa membawa pulang piala berbentuk gramofon. Pianis jazz muda kebanggaan Indonesia sekaligus nominator termuda pada Grammy Awards tahun ini, Joey Alexander yang malam itu masuk nominasi Best Improvised Jazz Solo dengan lagunya "Countdown" lagi-lagi harus pulang dengan tangan hampa. Dikategori tersebut Joey Alexander dikalahkan oleh John Scofield. Ini adalah nominasi ketiga yang diterima Joey Alexander, setelah tahun sebelumnya dia juga masuk nominasi dikategori Best Improvised Jazz Solo dan Best Jazz Instrumental Album.
