Pemenang BAFTA Awards 2019

The 72nd British Academy Film Awards 

Malam ajang penghargaan film terbesar di Inggris sukses dihelat. The 72nd British Academy Film Awards atau yang lebih dikenal dengan BAFTA, diselenggarakan pada 10 Februari 2019. Joanna Lumley, pemain “Absolutely Fabulous” memandu acara penghargaan yang diselenggarakan di Royal Albert Hall, London.

“The Favorite” yang memimpin dengan dua belas nominasi berhasil menggondol tujuh piala di kategori Best Actrees in a Leading Role, Best Actrees in a Supporting Role, Best Original Screenplay, Outstanding British Film, Best Production Design, Best Costume Design dan Best Make-Up and Hair. Sedangkan “Roma”, film yang berkisah tentang seorang pembantu rumah tangga di keluarga kelas menengah di Meksiko, selain berjaya di kategori Best Cinematography dan Best Film Not in the English Language, film besutan Alfonso Cuaron tersebut meraih penghargaan tertinggi yaitu sebagai Best Film dan Best Director.
