| The 94th Academy Awards |
“Coda” terpilih menjadi Best Picture dalam gelaran
Oscar tahun ini. Film “Dune” mendominasi dengan meraih enam
penghargaan. Sebelumnya film yang dibintangi oleh Timothee Chalamet dan Zendaya ini
mengantongi sepuluh nominasi. Sementara film yang menerima nominasi
terbanyak “The Power of the Dog”, cuma berhasil membawa pulang satu
piala dari dua belas nominasi yang didapatnya. Film yang diadaptasi dari novel
bertajuk sama karya Thomas Savage itu cuma berjaya di kategori Best Director.
Untuk kategori Best Actress in a Leading Role dimenangkan Jessica Chastain.
Will Smith dianugerahi Best Actor in a Leading Role atas perannya sebagai
Richard Williams di film “King Richard”. Beberapa kategori
pemenang Oscar 2022 telah diumumkan oleh AMPAS selaku penyelenggara 94th
Academy Awards di akun Twitter resmi mereka dan tidak ditayangkan secara
langsung.
