Dalam
penganugerahan yang berlangsung pada 26 Maret 2022 waktu Amerika Serikat, Film “Diana: The Musical” yang mendapatkan nominasi
paling banyak di tahun ini diganjar lima piala yaitu Worst Picture, Worst
Director (Christopher Ashley) Worst Actress (Jeanna de Waal), Worst Supporting Actress
(Judy Kaye) dan Worst Screenplay.
“Space Jam: A New Legacy”
memenangkan tiga piala Razzie: Worst Actor (LeBron James), Worst Screen Couple dan Worst Remake, Rip-off or Sequel. Jared Leto membawa pulang Worst Supporting
Actor.
Tahun ini, Razzie Awards memberikan kategori khusus
untuk aktor veteran Hollywood, Bruce Willis. Kategori itu adalah Worst Performance by Bruce Willis in a 2021 Movie. Bruce Willis memang aktif membintangi
sejumlah film pada tahun lalu. Ada sekitar 8 judul film yang dibintangi oleh
Bruce dan hampir semuanya mendapatkan kritikan pedas dari kritikus film. Dari
delapan film yang dinominasikan film “Cosmic
Sin” keluar sebagai pemenangnya. Sedangkan Will Smith diganjar Razzie Redeemer Award untuk perannya di film “King Richard” dimana dia juga
dinominasikan untuk Best Actor di Oscar.
