acara tahunan itu dengan Jimmie Allen pemenang 2021 New Male
Artist of the Year dan pemenang New Female Artist of the Year tahun lalu Gabby
Barrett.

itu memimpin perolehan nominasi yang diumumkan pada bulan Februari bulan lalu. Diantaranya
single hitnya "Famous Friends" dengan Kane Brown
dinominasikan di tiga kategori yaitu Single of the Year, Video of the Year dan Music
Event of the Year. Sementara itu Miranda Lambert yang dinobatkan menjadi
Entertainer of the Year menyamai rekor Reba McEntire untuk nominasi Female
Artist of the Year dengan nominasi ke-16 nya tahun ini.
